Girl from Kuala~la~la Lumpur!!

Woots! 1U's Fashion On 1 Gala - First taste of what it feels like (pretty awesome, btw) to sit front row at a fashion show.

The bonus that made rushing through traffic on a Thursday evening worth it? Mizz Nina! 

Had no idea she'd be performing and I was so excited when she came on stage. I really like What You Waiting For and Takeover, which she performed; Mizz Nina's one of the few M'sian artistes lil' me can name offhand.

... And she was great! The energy was good and her dancers (sexay gals!) looked like they were having a great time too.

Snap! Day 8

Day 8:

Railroad tycoons ;)

This one's Ticket To Ride. It's a beginner-friendly board game, not particularly exciting but fast paced and quite fun. 

It lacks the "gimmicks" of newer games such as colourful boards & tokens though, so be warned if you're the type that goes "ooh", "aah", and "so cute!" (like me!) :P

Btw, I love going to Meeples with friends. The atmosphere's usually cozy, the staff are generally friendly (unless you catch them during peak hours), and the selection of games are good. 

It's somewhat of a haven for me to escape into its cozy interior when I'm stressed. Weird, huh? I get a high from card & board (and card+board, ha ha) games XD

Snap! Day 7

Day 7:

Mnnn...*bliss*!

After 2 back-to-back days of clanking past 8pm at the office with many more to come...

I can't wait to sink down onto a pile of fluffy pillows, sip leisurely on a good cuppa (aromatic rooibos ftw!) and savour juicy strawberries!

The metaphorical icing sugar to top off this delicious snack? The sweet, soothing - techno - sounds of Owl City playing in the background while I enjoy my feast :)

Chink in the armour

Notice that chip at the compact's upper left corner? That, my dears, is the torture I inflicted on my poor, poor much underused foundation over the weekend.

Nay, I'm not going crazy - although sometimes it can be hard to know for sure :P - and it's all in the name of self development and work enhancement. *snort*

Yes, I was trying to learn how to style products for photoshoots. Mission accomplished? Not really. All I can say is... at least now I know what not to do.

Of course I mean at a distance, silly. Not when one's slowly and steadily crawling up your leg to world domination. Sure don't look adorable then.

~ Galaxy Angel Season 1 ~ <3

Remember Galaxy Angel? AXN used to screen this series aeons ago before the channel became more popular for CSI than anime :P

This was one of the first things I bought 2nd hand (but like new!) off LYN and COD with the seller - nice guy! - for a very reasonable deal!! *happy happy* :D

*insert random internet buying/COD horror story*, I got really lucky with this one. Sankyuu internet gods.

You can't find this kind of stuff at local DVD shops any more (if you ever could)... original Bandai import with extra goodies like a Fan Book and cute little figurines of Milfeulle, Forte and Ranpha! 

What...? I like staring at female figurines, nothing wrong with that, right? Right? Kyaa! <3
